The Eucharistic is the source and summit of the Christian life. It is truly Jesus Christ, body, blood, soul and divinity. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in giving Eucharist to the faithful during the Mass and also in bringing the Eucharist to those that cannot attend Mass.  All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine.
