Kinder to 5th grade (CCD) – Classes will be on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. and will begin on September 7, 2022.
6th to 8th grade (CYM) – Classes will be on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 7:30 P.M. and will begin on September 14, 2022.
9th to 12th grade (SHOCK) – Classes for this age are twice a month on Sundays from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. beginning September 11, 2022. We celebrate Confirmation usually in the 10th grade. Those preparing for Confirmation must be in class for two consecutive years.
Young Adults – Young Adults are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the Adult Formation classes. Check the current events parish calendar for dates. In addition, there are retreats and other activities available through the Diocese of Austin and through the ACTS community.
Adults – As Catholics, we are called to grow in our faith through education and formation throughout our entire lives. DiscipleShip is a ministry of our parish especially for adults who want to go deeper into the beliefs and practices of their Catholic Faith. Other opportunities are available through diocesan classes and conferences, as well as local classes and retreats.
RCIA - The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) guides those who desire to learn more about the Catholic Church and find out if God is calling them to become Catholics. On a similar path are those who "may have received" some Christian or Catholic formation and sacraments but would like to receive full sacramental initiations. If you are an adult interested in joining the church or interested in celebrating the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, or Confirmation, please contact Debbie Greene at the Parish Office.
Ministry Opportunities - There are always opportunities to serve in ministry, including adults who are ready to assist with the Religious Education programs at all levels of the program. The opportunities available allow for participation from people of many different talents including catechists, event organizers, promotion/communication helpers, as well as general volunteers. Faith formation requires the commitment of many parishioners, especially parents of children in classes, to make it successful. Please pray to see if God is calling you to share the good news by becoming part of one of these ministries.
